  • The community and Service life

    • Jesus tells us, "For where two or three are gathered in My Name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 20:18). Recognizing this reality, St. Ann and St. Joseph seek to help parishioners find Christ's presence in the midst of their daily lives, and to respond by reflecting the presence of Christ to all they meet.  From community building events to opportunties to put one's Faith into practice to everything between, we encourage everyone to grow in holiness together!

    • Community Life

We love our Church Family at St. Ann and St. Joseph Catholic Parishes! From our fun activites like the Picnic Fall Family Fun Event, to our Class Masses with fellowship and activities for the younger parishioners, to trips to Mud Hens game to watch our choirs sing the National Anthem, fun is for all ages.  Even serving spaghetti or perch at a fundraiser can be fun for the whole family.  The community life at St. Ann and St. Joseph is designed to bring people together to enjoy one another and ultimately grow in holiness together.  The calendar of community building events grows each year as we strive to find more ways to celebrate our Church Family.  To learn more about our community or to get more involved, please call either Parish Office. And as always, stay plugged into our social media (@sasjfremont) to catch all the details and highlights of our community life.

      Ways to Get Involved

    • Ministries

An important part of any parish are the ministries where parishioners serve one another in various capacities.  These ministries vary greatly from liturgical to service, but ultimately Christ is working through all of them!  The list of active ministries at St. Ann and St. Joseph Catholic Parishes is rather long, and so the best way to see where you may be called is through prayer and discernment.  To see a list of available ministries to use your God-given gifts and talents, check out our Ways to Get Involved brochure.

      Ways to Get Involved

    • Service and Outreach

St. Ann and St. Joseph Catholic Parishes take pride in living out our Faith, especially through good works of service and outreach.  There are many ways for parishioners to get involved - from volunteering at local charities like Share and Care & The Liberty Center, to supporting local efforts like Heartbeat & the Red Cross, there is something for everyone.  The Parishes have an active St. Vincent de Paul Society and a Social Concerns Committe that direct a majority of the outreach efforts.  To learn more about ways to help those in need or get invovled, call either Parish Office.

    • Connect Groups

Christians have been growing in their knowledge and faith in small communities from the foundation of the Church.  Connect Groups exist for Parishioners to gather and journey together.  Whether the group explores a book, participates in a study, does service work together, or simply gather to share their Faith, these groups are designed to help everyone to grow in holiness together.  To learn more about these groups, to form your own Connect Group, or to join one already formed, please check out the Connect Groups brochure below or call either Parish Office.
